EXACTION FEES:

Mert Mann reported that the Planning Board with the assistance of the Road Agent, Les Hammond, Selectman,  and Ken Swayze had estimated costs associated with improvements to be done to Gile Hill Road and the exaction fee of $4,000 per lot has been assessed.  This was arrived at by the following formula:

Total estimated cost for road improvement to Gile Hill Road from Grapevine Road to the Brennan property -   $120,000

Total number of potential lots on Gile Hill Road – 30 lots

$120,000 divided by 30 lots = $4,000 per lot

$4,000 per lot (3) for a total of $12,000 will be assessed to the Chan’s

DAFFODIL PROJECT:

Correspondence from Donna Dunn received that indicated the Garden Club’s  interpretation of the Selectmen’s recommendation at the Selectmen’s meeting of May 19, 2005 was that there should be two separate accounts for the Daffodil Project and the TCP (Town Common Project)

After discussion, the Selectmen reached a consensus that the way they interpreted the recent discussion regarding the Daffodil Project was that there would be separate accounts as follows:  There should not be one account for both programs.

1.       Daffodil Project

2.       Town Common Project (TCP)
