DUNBARTON BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MINUTES OF MEETING
TOWN OFFICES –
The regularly scheduled weekly meeting of the Dunbarton
Board of Selectmen was held at the above time, date and place with Chairman
Charles Graybill presiding. It was noted
that the meeting was called to order at

The
Selectmen reviewed correspondence and signed checks prior to the Public Meeting
was called to order.
GENERAL
BUSINESS:
Janice
VandeBogart presented the following items to the Board of Selectmen:
1.
Janice VandeBogart will draft a letter for the Selectmen to sign.
2.
Arsenic in water at the
The Selectmen agreed that the Town Offices will take out the water fountain and replace it with a water tower.
3.
Janice read a
letter regarding the Board of Assessors and how current use with a home on it
is determined. They use a one acre home
site as the most valuable part of the property.
Anything after that is considered under current use at a different
assessment. Starts at $4,500.
4.
Janice
VandeBogart requested vacation for the coming week. Selectmen signed the request.
Mrs. David Ledger,
Mrs. Ledger asked what could be done about the pond in her front yard
which is created by water, etc. It was
determined that the previous culvert had probably been replaced by a concrete
one which was too high in the ground.
Because of this, the water does not drain properly.
The Selectmen stated they will have the Road Agent go down and inspect the situation to determine what can be done.
Planning Board Request
for a 90 Day Extension for the Gerald Gelinas/Don Perkins proposed Subdivision
and
MOTION:
Mert Mann made a motion that the Dunbarton Board of Selectmen grant a 90 day extension for the Gerald Gelinas/Don Perkins Proposed Subdivision and Lot Line Adjustment. Les Hammond seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
GASB #34
Janice VandeBogart, Town Administrator, reported that Mason and Rich
Accountants will be auditing now that the GASB (Fixed Assets) is
completed. In the future, all
departments will be required to list asset values for the record. This program is mandated by the State. It is necessary for the government to be able
to look at it to see how we expended monies, etc.
At this point in the meeting, Charles Graybill stated he would like to thank Janice VandeBogart for all the hard work she did in putting this together.
TOWN OFFICES:
Charles (Chuck) Graybill stated he had met with Todd Riley, Structural
Engineer, regarding removing the wall between the two bathrooms in the Town
Offices and making one larger handicapped bathroom. Todd Riley reported that the wall was not a
carrying wall and could be removed.
The Selectmen agreed to contact Michael Poirier regarding writing up a RFP for construction of the new wheel chair accessed bathroom in the Town Offices.
CIP Program:
The Selectmen requested that the CIP program be put on the Planning
Board Agenda for the next meeting for discussion.
JOINT LOSS COMMITTEE:
Les Hammond, Selectman, agreed to be the representative for the
Selectmen for the Joint Loss Committee.
