BOARD OF SELECTMEN

MINUTES OF MEETING

March 11, 2004

Present:          Chuck Graybill

                        J.R. Swindlehurst, III

7:00 p.m.  Chuck officially opened the meeting.

 

 

7:20 p.m.  Other Business:

 

J.R. reported on the bids that were received by the Kimball Pond Conservation Commission to clear an acre of land. The bids include:

 

There was a brief discussion and Chuck suggested accepting the least expensive bid. J.R. suggested calling the Commission in for an appointment to find out more information on the work to be done.

 

7:30 p.m.  Chuck opened the meeting for public discussion.

Chuck Williamson inquired about the permit he applied for with Ken Swayze, which has not been processed yet.  He also said he wanted to set the record straight.   He wanted it noted that he did not cost the Town money because he paid for copying costs.  J.R. said that he did not say that Chuck cost the Town money, just that costs were incurred by the Town.  Steve indicated that there is an expense to the Town to confirm what is being requested under the Right to Know law. 

 

7:37 p.m.  Chuck motioned to go into non-public session, pursuant to RSA 91:A, to review a legal matter with Ken Swayze.  Steve seconded the motion.  The motion carried.

 

8:12 p.m.  Chuck motioned to end the non-public session, which was seconded by J.R.   The motion carried.

 

8:13 p.m.  Lori Davis apologized to J.R. for the confrontation.

 

 

8:13 p.m.  Steve motioned to adjourn the meeting and he noted that, as a promise to Mert Mann, he will videotape his favorite program every Thursday.  J.R. seconded the motion.  The motion carried.
