Meeting was called to order
at 9:10 am.
The Board met with the
Building Inspector to discuss the permit application for a commercial haulers
business in the name of Tom Gleason. Tom
had called Chuck Graybill at 7:45 pm this date to say
that he was unable to attend due to illness.
Steve Kennedy moved to accept Mr. Gleason’s reason for absence but move
to continue the discussion. JR Swindlehurst seconded the motion, motion carried.
It was noted that Mr.
Gleason’s formal application was made on February 4, 2004. The Rules for Home Occupation was discussed
(see attached rules).
The Board discussed three
options for issuing the permit:
1. Provisional permit: Schedule six
month inspections for one year.
2. Conditional permit: With
quarterly inspections over the next year and if he complies, issue permit.
3. Issue Permit if two vehicles are gone, with no less that quarterly
inspections and all complaints must be in writing.
Chuck Graybill
made the motion to adjourn at 10:07 am and to meet with Mr. Gleason at an
agreed time in the near future. Steve
Kennedy seconded the motion, motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at
10:07 am.
