Meeting was posted on
website and at town office, see attached.
The Board worked on the
budget. It was voted to adjust all
employees pay to reflect a 3.5% increase.
This would cover Town Administrator, Office Secretarial help, transfer
station full time and part time, Highway Dept full time, and Janitor.
It was voted to decrease the
police budget slightly.
The motion was made second
and passed that no town employee while on duty for the town and responding to
fire calls will be credited with time under the point system used by the
Dunbarton Fire Department.
A letter received from New
Hampshire the Beautiful with an offer of a grant for $3,000 towards the
purchase of a new baler was discussed.
It was voted to pass over this offer because the town would have to put
up another $9,000 for the purchase of the baler and the Selectmen felt this was
not warranted at this time because of budget restraints. A letter will be
mailed to NH the Beautiful.
