The hearing for the proposed ordinance will be scheduled in a month.
John S. Swindlehurst was in to revise the perambulation with the Town of Hooksett. He also reported that Mr. Belanger was to meet with the Town Forest Committee on Saturday to review his plans for the proposed subdivision on Stark Lane.
Jeff Trexler, Building Committee: Mr. Trexler reported that the architect would like to have test pits dug on the town common to test soils for a new septic system for the town buildings. There was a discussion regarding the current system and it was stated that the town buildings have a deeded right to use the land across the highway from the town office. John Swindlehurst stated that the ground around the town hall would be difficult to dig, after 3 ft. would hit hardpan. Les Hammond stated that a system would have to raised.
The board gave their approval to have the test pits dug. The Road Agent will be notified.
John Turner, assistant Building Inspector: John inquired about a difference in the zoning vs the code regarding square feet of a building requiring permit. The zoning states that anything over 100 sq. feet while the code states anything over 2000 dq. Ft. The board agreed that the most stringent rule will apply. (Zoning – 100 sq. ft.)
Motion to adjourn was made by J. R. Swindlehurst and seconded by Les Hammond, all in favor.
