made
a
motion
to
accept
Brian
Little's
resignation
as
Supervisor
of
the
Transfer
Station,
which
was
seconded
by
Les.
Les
commended
the
efforts
of
the
Recycling
Committee,
particularly
Lori
Davis
and
Chuck
Williamson,
as
well
as
J.R.,
who
pitched
in
to
"fill
the
void",
after
Brian's
departure. 7:40

Recycling
Committee
--
Lori
Davis
and
Chuck
Williamson
came
in
to
discuss
the
current
situation
at
the
Transfer
Station.
Lori
discussed
information
obtained
from
Margie
Seymour,
of
N.H.
The
Beautiful,
including
the
existence
of
a
market
for
plastics,
including
mixed
plastics,
for
which
the
Town
can
earn
$.05/lb.
The
plastics
can
be
picked
up
at
the
Transfer
Station.
Lori
also
indicated
that
N.H.
The
Beautiful
has
monies
available
for
recycling
issues,
including
$5,000
for
the
baler. Lori
also
commended
J.R.
for
his
assistance
with
the
Transfer
Station
and
Les
for
loaning
equipment. Janice
asked
about
the
current
fee
schedule,
which
the
Recycling
Committee
may
be
addressing
at
a
special
meeting
on
Tues.,
according
to
Chuck
Williamson,
so
that
a
public
hearing
can
be
set.
The
Recycling
Committee
doesn't
foresee
any
other
staff
members
leaving
the
Transfer
Station. Les
discussed
the
possibility
of
paying
the
Committee
for
their
work
at
the
Transfer
Station,
but
neither
Chuck
nor
Lori
wanted
to
accept
it.
J.R.
indicated
that
he
would
like
the
Committee
to
be
the
acting
supervisor.
Chuck
indicated
that
he
would
like
to
see
a
full
time
Town
employee
on
board
to
supervise
the
Transfer
Station
and
to
fill
in
where
needed. Chuck
Williamson
indicated
that
Brian
Little
has
been
helpful
in
the
last
few
days. A
discussion
ensued
about
sorting
options
for
recyclables. 8:25

Martha
Rae
--
seeking
the
Board's
recommendation
as
whether
to
deed
Michel
Belanger's
property
to
the
Town,
for
lack
of
payment
of
property
taxes.
Mr.
Belanger
indicated
that
he
is
not
going
to
pay
the
property
taxes
on
the
fire
pond
and
road
on
Jacqueline
Dr.
Janice
is
going
to
seek
the
Town's
legal
counsel's
recommendation. 8:35

Tim
Terragni
--
inquiring
about
the
use
of
the
ball
fields.
He
was
directed
to
the
school.
He
also
asked
whether
the
current
practice
of
donations
going
directly
to
the
Recreation
Commission
is
the
appropriate
method.
The
Board
would
like
it
to
continue
as
is.

Les
made
a
motion,
which
was
seconded
by
J.R.
to
go
into
nonpublic
session.
During
nonpublic
session,
J.R.
made
a
motion,
which
was
seconded
by
Les,
to
hire
Ron
Boynton,
to
work
at
the
Transfer
Station.
A
discussion
relating
to
a
personnel
issue
was
discussed
with
Janice.
