TOWN OF DUNBARTON BOARD OF SELECTMEN April 5, 2001 Present: J.R. Swindlehurst, Chair Chuck Graybill Les Hammond Janice Jelley, Town Administrator 7:30 Appointments 1. Les moved that Will Nichols be appointed to the Town Office/Town Hall Renovation Committee, for a term to expire in 3/02. Chuck seconded the motion. The motion passed. 2. Les made a motion to disband the Waste Management Committee and replace it with the Transfer Station and Recycling Management Committee to oversee and manage the transfer station and promote recycling, and to be comprised of 6 members, including an ex officio manager. The motion was seconded by J.R. The motion passed. 3. Les nominated Kenny Alton, Jeffrey Crosby, Michael Malloy, Charles Williamson and Lori Davis and supervisor, Brian Little, an ex officio member. J.R. seconded the motion. The motion passed. 8:00 Town Office/Town Hall Renovation Committee -- Donna Dunn, Kim Bowen, and Judy Petersen came in. A discussion ensued regarding enhancing the town common and proposed town hall renovations. Donna will be a member of the committee, with the following alternates: Kim Bowen, Judy Petersen and Lori Davis. 8:15 Larry Cook Central NH Regional Planning Commission regarding appointments. Larry will be back within two weeks. 8:30 Les made a motion to extend the Meetinghouse Common Committee, for a term to expire in 3/02, to include Debbie Auger, Lois Hollow, Fred Mullen and Harlan Noyes. Chuck seconded the motion. The motion passed. 8:35 Jeff Crosby came in so the Board could inquire if he or his mother would be interested in selling a field. Jeff indicated that they probably would not be interested. 8:40 Jeff Trexler came in to get suggestions for contractors for paving a walkway at the school. The first meeting was set for 5/15 at 7 p.m. for the Town Office/Town Hall Renovation Committee. Jeff also discussed the tax maps. Jeff also requested that the School Board and Chuck Gaides meet with the Board of Selectmen on 4/19 to discuss various issues.
