BOARD OF SELECTMEN

MINUTES OF MEETING

 

February  8, 2001

 

 

Present :  Merton Mann, Chair

                Chuck Graybill

                J.R. Swindlehurst

                                           Janice Jelley, Town Administrator

 

 

7:00 - - Nonpublic session

 

7:20 -  Alan Cushing, 216 Grapevine Rd.,  reported that his mailbox had been  plowed down during the most recent snowstorm.  The Selectmen agreed to have the town repair his mailbox.

 

7:25 -  Guy and Dawn Doucet brought in a check from Michel Belanger in the amount of $1900 which represented engineering fees due for Jacqueline Drive.  J. R. Swindlehurst assured the board that the fire pond on Jacqueline Drive had been tested and accepted by the Fire Department.   Mert made a motion to accept the fire pond on Jacqueline Dr., which was seconded by J.R. Swindlehurst, the vote was in the affirmative.  Mert Mann stated they were clear to apply to the building inspector for a final inspection to receive an occupancy permit. 

 

 

7:35 – Town Warrant for 2001 - The Board reviewed and edited the Town Warrant.     

 

7:50 – A discussion regarding when incoming Police Chief, Jeff Nelson, will be sworn in ensued, and it was decided it would be 3/1. 

 

7:55 – Janice discussed Alison Vallieres’ inquiry regarding her salary rate. 

 

8:12 – Chuck motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by J.R.
