DUNBARTON MASTER PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE

2003

In the summer of 2003 the Town of Dunbarton signed an agreement with Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission (CNHRPC) TO ASSIST IN THE PREPARATION OF THE 2004 Dunbarton Master Plan. The Dunbarton Planning Board then approved the following Master Plan Steering Committee:

Ron Slocum, Chairman; Brian Nordle, Co-Chairman; David Brealt; Chuck Graybill, Don Prior; Patty Shearing; John Swindlehurst, Sr.; Jeff Trexler; John Trottier; Margaret Watkins; Alison Vallieres; Jim Marcou, CNHRPC – Stephanie Alexander, Project Manager.

In November the Steering Committee with the help of CNHRPC designed and distributed a town wide survey which asked several questions concerning the past, present, and future of Dunbarton. Of the 1120+ surveys distributed, 44% were returned. That was the best return rate ever experienced by CNHRPC and a pleasant surprise for the Steering Committee.

The Steering Committee is now preparing for the upcoming Visioning Sessions where results of the Community survey will be presented, and work on the Master Plan Chapters will proceed.
