Town of Dunbarton has Employment Opportunities in the following departments:
- Transfer Station Assistant Manager:
This position is a part-time temporary position. The Assistant Manager requirements are the following (but not limited to): CDL-B license preferred, (roll-off experience a plus), be at least 18 years old, able to lift 75 lbs., work in a fast paced environment, operate related recycling equipment, have mechanical ability and supervise a small staff in the absence of the Transfer Station Manager. Saturdays are mandatory, rate of pay will depend on experience.
- Transfer Station Attendant:
This position is a part-time permanent position, (24-32 hours). Applicant must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 75 lbs., work in a fast paced environment, operate related recycling equipment, have mechanical ability (will train). Saturdays are mandatory. Starting pay is $12.28 / hour.
- Building Inspector:
This position is a part-time permanent position, (10 hrs. per week avg.). Must have building construction experience or any equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills, & abilities of the trade. IBC certification recommended. Possess a valid driver’s license. Able to interpret and enforce local, State, & Federal laws, codes & regulations pertaining to zoning, building & land use. Some software data entry required. Starting pay is $19.31.
