Dunbarton Transfer Station Fee Schedule

Construction/demolition waste:

Demolition wood, plywood, pressure treated, etc. $1.25/cubic foot
Shingles, sheetrock, and mixed loads $1.75/cubic foot

*Residents are allowed ¼ of a vehicle load of straight wood at no charge per
week.

Appliances: Any unit with freon
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers,
water coolers
$10/unit


Tires: No Split Rims, Tractor or Loader tires Accepted

Auto tires 20” or less (off rim) $2/tire
Auto tires 20” or less (on rim) $6/tire
Truck tires 20”-24.5” quartered $12/tire


Furniture:

Sleep sofas, reclining chairs $5/unit
Propane Tanks, 20lbs and larger $5/tank

Items charged for may not be left in the swap shop!

Recycling Center at a Glance

The Recycling Center Accepts the following Items to be recycled:

Glass (glass bottles, jars, cookware, ceramics, toilets, mirror glass, and tile)
PETE Plastic (clear, lightweight bottles and jars…look for recycling code 1)
HDPE Plastic (translucent or opaque containers with recycling code 2)
HDPE Plastic (colored containers with recycling code 2)
Aluminum (cans, pie plates, tin foil, other small aluminum items)
Steel (steel and tin cans, empty aerosol cans, dried out paint cans)
Please… Remove caps, empty, crush, and rinse out the above items

Brown Paper Bags, Chipboard, and Corrugated Cardboard
(this includes brown shopping bags, double walled cardboard, and chipboard i.e. Cereal boxes)
Mixed Paper (newspaper, junk mail, envelopes, flyers, letters, etc.)
