MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Attendees: Chuck Williamson, co- chair Lori Davis, co –chair
Ken
Keith Margeneau Jan & Janice VandeBogart
JR Swindlehurst, selectmen rep. Woody Bowne, Transfers Sta. Supvr.
The
meeting was called to order. The first
order of business was to put together the necessary specs on the various types
of work needed to be done for the renovation.
Lori and Chuck will send out next Tuesday letters and advertisements for
bids on all work.
Keith
is the new member on the committee replacing Mike Malloy. He is anxious to help and has good
ideas. JR & Woody will review specs
for the truck next meeting. We will be
asking the people in Town to step on to the plate and volunteer their time/and
or equipment to lower costs. So far Paul
Belanger is donating his skidder and himself to take out the dead trees. Ron Slocom has volunteered to help with brush
and various parts of the footings.
McDivot has volunteered his excavator.
Jan Vandebogart said now is the perfect time for us to start as the
Highway Dept. (ie: John Colter) will
have time available to help us with excavating, footings, pouring, etc.
The
new (used army surplus) fork lift has be overhauled and is now down at
the TS. It is really impressive.
April
23rd the Governor’s Recycling Program will be touring our facility
along with others. They will be catching
us under construction, but they’ve all been there and done that. April 4th the Paul Belanger will
be down at the TS with his skidder to start taking the trees down.
Next
meeting is Tuesday, April 9th, to review specs and bids. We will also discuss the next STEP.
