Researched and written by Dunbarton resident Harlan A. Noyes, with assistance from the Dunbarton Historical Awareness Committee, this book is an important historical collection containing over two hundred illustrations of old Dunbarton. All of the buildings included are at least one hundred years old, and some are no longer standing. The illustrations are from a wide variety of sources, and are complete with a descriptive text. To further capture the reader’s interest and enjoyment, the book also contains bits of nostalgia, humorous items from the archives, anecdotes and odd items from the public record.
