NEW BUSINESS:

Operating budget

Members present agreed to request a budget similar to last years with the addition of funds necessary to purchase hardware and gates for the Kimball Pond Conservation Area.  Brett St. Clair and Ron Jarvis volunteered to compile a list of materials and costs.

OLD BUSINESS:

Upgrades to scenic Gile Hill Road

On November 13th commission members and planning board representatives walked Gile Hill Road to study the impact various upgrades would have on stone walls and trees along the road.  Members present agreed an 18 foot road way would be sufficient.  If the travel way was widened to 18 feet few large trees would need to be cut and existing stonewalls would not be impacted.  A public hearing to discuss road upgrades is scheduled to be held on January 12th at 7:00PM at the Town offices.  Public notices will be posted prior to the hearing in accordance with state law.

NEXT MEETING: January 12, 2005 following the public hearing on Gile Hill Road upgrades

RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED: Darlene M. Jarvis
