Bicycling in Dunbarton

Bicycling ditty for long rides (and all sports):
"Drink before thirsty,
eat before hungry,
rest before tired"!

Cyclist
While most of the roads within Dunbarton are worth bicycling on, there is an "official" bicycle route described in the book 30 Bicycle Tours in New Hampshire by Adolphe Bermotas and Tom and Susan Heavey1. The route described in this book is 23 miles long and categorized as moderately challenging.

The route starts at the Dunbarton Coutry Store: proceed west on Winslow road; left on Stark Lane; left on Mansion Road; right on Route 13; pass the Valley View Country Club (and breath a sigh of relief of the hill you just road up; or walked, as the case may be!); continue down Paige Hill Road then Locust Hill Road into Goffstown; right on Elm Street to Goffstown center; proceed on North Mast Road; right on Parker Station Road; right on Gorham Pond Road; proceed to Route 13 and back-track to the Dunbarton Country Store.

For complete details, buy the book! It's tour number 17.
